Concept Models 

Z Printers are capable of creating early stage concept models of any complexity directly from digital data, quickly and inexpensively. A typical part can be printed in a few hours. Concept models are a critical part of the design process and are used across a wide range of industries.

Concept Models are used to:-

• Communicate internally - designs can be visualised early in the design process and used to communicate across the business involving teams from design, manufacture and marketing.
• Perform Interative Design - Quick, inexpensive models make it possible to print multiple pieces during the course of a project and use the models to present various design and marketing concepts.
• Communicate with Clients - Full colour functional appearance prototypes make it easier for clients to appreciate the design and assist in problem solving.
• Testing - Physical prototypes can be tested for form fit and function making it easier to identify early stage problems with performance, ergonomics or aesthetics.
• Marketing - Models can be printed, finished and used to represent the final part's appearance. These can be used by sales and marketing at exhibitions, customer presentations or for sales and technical literature.
